THE FLESH FILES
DAY 2

Welcome back to the second installment of The Flesh Files. Today, we’re diving into two tracks that lean into the heavier, more mechanical side of our sound.
Today we'll share the story of how Protoblood evolved from a silly noise-rock project into a heavy staple for Flesh Planet. We also get into the lofi electronic inspirations behind Computer Games And Rude Things, which draws on the dusky, dystopian atmosphere of early 90s Amiga games.
On the lyrical side, we discuss the exhaustion of masking to fit into a neurotypical world, and the internal battle between the fear of being chewed up by the system versus the fear of rotting away in your own head.
We’ve also included a re-imagined session of Computer Games And Rude Things. This version is a throwback to the song's original electropunk demo. It’s lofi, tongue-in-cheek, and pays homage to the early sampling technology of vintage game music.
